Want to win a free Custom Oregon Ducks Nike Air Jordan III giveaway? We now have another chance for you to enter!

The Oregon Ducks Pit Crew is proud to announce our second social media giveaway: This time, we will be raffling of pair of the Air Jordan IIIs to a random Facebook fan!

The catch, however, is as follows: in order to obtain these shoes, our Facebook page needs to reach 1500 likes by August 3rd (the end of IntroDUCKtion 2012). This promotion will be open to students only and lots of interactivity is encouraged to help us reach our desired goal.

That means we need approximately 1000 more likes to get this party started. So be sure to continue to like our status, share them on your wall, and tweet our link as often as possible. This will help ensure a dominant social media presence for the Pit Crew. The winner will be announced on all social media platforms once we have an

Greetings! I want to thank you all for the warm response to the blog so far. We’ve got around 100 followers since we launched last night, and we’re hoping to pick up that pace even more as we continue into the coming weeks. Keep telling your friends about the opportunity to win the shoe, and be sure to re-blog our last post for more information and help!

Like this photograph of our Pit Crew leaders looking energetic and thrilled to be in the Eugene heat on this sunny Monday? As you may know, orientation has begun this afternoon and the Pit Crew is hoping to be a major presence near the upper level of the EMU, by the fish bowl. We will be tabling from 12:00 - 1:30 PM at EVERY SESSION, and we have some bright-eyed student leader waiting to talk to you. Did I mention you can get free swag and a peak at the shoes simply by stopping by? Free buttons, info on the new shirt, and a way to sign up for multiple raffles. Try your luck.

There will be computers to sign up for Tumblr, and a raffle to giveaway an awesome Oregon Ducks Pit Crew jacket. This is a great opportunity to take initiative and meet some of the members that make the Pit Crew tick. For those interested, please e-mail pitcrew1@uoregon.edu or stop by our table. Forgive the spy quality on the picture, but this is some very rare Air we’re looking at. Basically a gift to the die hard Oregon Ducks fans, known as the ‘Pit Crew’, that fill in Matt Knight Arena (that’s the one with the playing floor designed by Tinker Hatfield-this exclusive Nike thing starting to make a little more sense?), the sneaker-with it’s unique Ducks/Pit Crew-details is being released in extremely limited numbers in both black and white colorways. 10 pairs will slip out October 15th as part of an Oregon basketball promotion but you would need a student ID to even start to dream of getting your hands on ‘em. Wonder if they have rolling admission?
